5.2 Troubleshooting

E10 Generic error

Cycle power to the scale. For continued problems

contact METTLER TOLEDO for additional

assistance.

E 11 RAM error

E 16 ROM error

E 18 EEPROM error

E 20 Calibration error Cycle power to the scale and restart calibration.

E 28 Transmission error Reset scale.

Zero Key or cycle power to the scale. For

5.3 Flash Updating the Software

DIVA software can be flash updated through the serial communications port. You will need the

standard DIVA communications cable and access to the Internet for downloading the software flash

tool and latest software. Please contact Mettler-Toledo, Inc. Technical Support for detailed

instructions.

5.4 Connections to a POS

5.4.1 Communications Pinout

For communications with the scale, you will need the appropriate communications cable. This cable

will have an RJ45 connector on one end that is plugged into the appropriate port on the scanner.

The other end will by DB9-F and is used for plugging into the POS.
